Ideal for busy facilities and border crossings that need to screen non-palletized freight and break-bulk cargo in diverse sizes, the PX-231 screens everything from small parcels to large cartons containing computer equipment or other hardware components, animal quarantines and out-of-gauge-luggage.

A downward projecting X-ray beam allows for low conveyer height, 300mm (12 inches) from the ground, which facilitates rapid screening while reducing the risk of injury and damage to goods. The system’s compact footprint is well suited to environments where space is at a premium.

The PX-231 offers all the advantages of L-3 technology, including patented user-friendly touchpad operator interface with heads-up display allowing operators to efficiently and accurately screen items. Transparent Color® imaging with Operator Assist detection (OA) capabilities facilitates the rapid detection of multiple threats. The result is consistently fast (up to 700 bags per hour), accurate and efficient screening and detection of weapons, narcotics, explosives and other threats and contraband.
