Dense rail cargo is no match for the system's powerful 6.0MeV X-ray source, which penetrates 300 mm (12 in) of steel. The CX-6000R produces clear scans every time, even when scanning loads that vary in density from nearly empty to thickly compact.
A throughput champion, the CX-6000R scans boxcars, cargo containers, automobile carriers and train cars moving at speeds up to 10 MPH.
